Victory Housing Development Fund Company, Inc.

This non-profit corporation was formed to revitalize the community. We seek to remove slumlords and refurbish abandoned houses. We then act as a liaison between banks and perspective homeowners to aid them in purchasing their own home while training them in our Financial Freedom Clinic. Totally rehabilitated houses are available with no closing costs and FHA assumable mortgages.

Victory Housing is a Certified HUD Counseling Agency. We offer counseling in Pre-Purchase and Post-Purchase when clients are interested in purchasing a house, or in budgeting their income, once they have bought their home.

Our Loss Mitigation counseling offers help to people in the midst of defaulting on their mortgage payments, especially due to loss of income. Banks and mortgage companies are mandated by HUD to work with their clients in the case of default and as counselors, Victory Housing is able to work with the bank or mortgage company to produce the best possible remedy for the individual client.

Reverse Mortgages are the HUD backed loans that clients over 62 may obtain to improve their living conditions through finances, without leaving their homes, and without making any monthly payments.

Our counseling is paid by HUD and therefore does not cost our clients anything but time spent in counseling,learning about their opportunities and assistance available. Most sessions are for an hour or two and follow-up is done by phone.
