NBAA: Character Achievement Program (CAP)

CAP: Receiving instruction, correction, provision, and protection through the Biblical jurisdictions of parents, civil authorities, church leaders, and employers.

Cap is designed to work in conjunction with the NBAA sports program. (Soccer, Basketball, Softball, Football)

When signing up for the NBAA Sports Program, CAP is a mandatory course. The CAP classes are usually held on Saturday mornings from 9:00 am - 10:00 am. The kids are taught who their authorities are, their responsibilities and who they are responsible to.

The kids are given assistance with their schoolwork. All of the applications are biblical principles taught in theory preparing the youth and giving them knowledge of how to deal with life's every day situations. It is also emphasized that knowledge is just one part. The application of these principles is vital for success in their lives.

Starting with the "Four Principles of Loyalty" which is the foundation of the program and its logo. They are as follows:

1. The Grizzly Bear: Know and following the wishes of those responsible for me.

2. The Great Horned Owl: Adjusting my schedule to meet the needs of those that I am serving.

3. The Honey Bee: Being a reliable messenger to those I am serving.

4. The Canadian Goose: Standing with those that I am serving in their time of need.

The youth are also taught the working definition for obedience: receiving instruction, correction, provision through the biblical jurisdiction of parents, civil authorities, church leaders, and employers.

The children are also taught the principle of authority, using the concept of the umbrella of protection which is made up of four jurisdictions:

1. Parents
2. Church Leaders
3. Civil Authorities
4. Employers
